Add Patient Contacts in Pulsara HQ

Did you know that you can attach contact information for an emergency contact, family member, or witness to a patient channel in Pulsara? Adding contacts has been available on iOS and Android via the ADD floating action button. Now contacts can also be added via Pulsara HQ from a web browser.

What's new

  • Pulsara HQ users can add contacts in the Patient Details panel, saving contact information such as name, phone number, relationship to the patient, and whether the contact has power of attorney for the patient

  • HQ users can now send contacts an invitation to install Pulsara PATIENT right from the patient channel, which will allow providers to initiate a voice or video call with the contact

Incident Management with Pulsara

In the midst of a stress event, care teams need the ability to connect the right people at the right time. We're releasing new Incident Management functionality that allows EMS and emergency management to triage and track patients during events like MCIs/MPIs, and to notify hospitals about patients coming from these Incidents.

EMS Incident Management - HQ

What's new

  • Hospitals and other healthcare organizations can view patients that are being transported to their facility during an incident and receive advance notification of incoming patients

  • Hospitals can view or update patient condition via color-coded triage tags (green, yellow, red, and black) in the HQ patient list

  • Hospitals can view the name of the Incident a patient is involved in via the Triage section at the top of the patient channel

  • Hospitals can indicate their availability to receive patients from an Incident

  • Clinicians can scan patient wristbands to create new patient channels or locate existing ones, allowing for easy updating as patient care continues at your facility

Who’s impacted

  • EMS/Ambulance crews
  • Hospital team members managing incoming EMS patients

Why you’d use it

  • Leverage the same tool you use every day for patient communication and logistics to communicate during a stress event

  • Respond to incidents with a united front by enabling communication between all responding parties
