Add Patient Condition with a New Triage Feature
Determining a patient’s condition is an important step to getting them the care they need. What if you could instantly communicate a patient’s triage information to other care team members? That’s why we’re adding the option to specify patient condition in a patient channel, so that clinicians can more quickly assess which patients need care first.
What's changing
- With a quick tap, clinicians will be able to add patient condition for new or existing patients by clicking the ADD floating action button at the bottom of the screen and selecting “Triage”
- Green, yellow, red, and black condition tags will be available to choose from, in accordance with the industry standard for triage tags
Who’s impacted
- Hospital team members managing incoming EMS patients
Why you’d use it
- Quickly add condition information to communicate important information to the care team
- See patients' condition before they arrive
