Video Call Recording

The wait is over: one of our most-requested features has finally arrived! We are excited to announce that Pulsara customers can now record video calls and access them at any time through our new call log located in Pulsara MANAGER!

What's changing

  • In mobile versions of the app, Pulsara customers can record audio and video calls with the touch of a button
  • Call participants are prompted to opt in when recording begins for an in-progress call, or when joining a call where recording has already started
  • Pulsara Admins can play back recorded calls in Pulsara MANAGER via Case Details
  • The Pulsara Call Log will also display details about both audio and video calls, such as call duration and participants

Who’s impacted

  • This feature is included with Pulsara UNITED, subject to a usage ceiling and file retention limits
  • All team members at a Pulsara UNITED organization that has chosen to enable the feature can record video calls

Why you’d use it

  • Review, revisit, and play back video calls 
  • Access calls for quality assurance and quality improvement
  • Record patient refusals for transport

Getting started

Admins: 

  • Please review your agency’s policies and procedures and verify before enabling for your organization
  • Check out this Knowledge Base article for more information about this feature
  • The ability to record calls can be enabled or disabled at an organization level by Pulsara

End Users: 

  • When the feature is enabled, end users see a new “Record Call” button in mobile versions of Pulsara while participating in a Pulsara Call
  • Must be running Pulsara mobile version 26 or higher to use Pulsara Call Recording
