Availability Information for Area Hospitals
What's changing
- We've added the ability for facilities to view availability information for other entities in their area.
- Availability information includes facility name, city and state, distance, the type of entity, availability color-coded icon and message (i.e. “CT scanner down”), and a public comment if the facility has one configured.
- The Availability view can be filtered to show only facilities that have availability information set or all facilities within their area. The list can also be filtered by facility name or city.

- Pulsara Web adds additional capabilities, including:
- A high-resolution map view shows the location of facilities near you
- A colored dot on the map communicates high-level availability status (e.g., green, yellow, red)
- Availability status details appear when you move your mouse over the facility dots on the map

- See the impact on hospitals due to an incident in the area

- Pulsara facilities in a region where other facilities use Pulsara

Tappable Links for Mobile Incident Notes
What's changing
- URLs, phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses that are included in Incident Notes are now tappable on mobile.
Ways to use it
- Incident owners can add incident training information or links to information that will assist team members participating in an incident
- Add a link to an external website for procedural information related to the incident
- Tap on a physical address to see the location in your mobile device’s mapping app
- Tap on a phone number to quickly initiate a call

- Team members who use Pulsara on a mobile device during an incident
Rollout
- This change was released in Pulsara mobile version 54 which became available starting on November 13th. This change is not yet available in Pulsara Web.
Pulsara for iOS Version Support Information
What's changing
- Pulsara 54, released last week, will be the last version compatible with iOS 15. Pulsara version 55 and later will require iOS 16 or later. iOS 15 devices can continue to use Pulsara until mid-2025.
- Devices running iOS 16 and newer can continue to upgrade to new Pulsara versions.
- After upgrading to version 54, Pulsara mobile end users will need to upgrade at least once every six months (the first required upgrade will be in June 2025).

- Apple ended "Security Support" as of Sept 16, 2024 for iOS 15

Who’s impacted
- Pulsara iOS end users with a device running iOS 15 or older
- Pulsara iOS users who upgrade to 54 will be required to upgrade to a new Pulsara version every 6 months
