Multi-IdP Account Linking & Login Instructions
Summary
This instruction document is intended to provide instructions for end-users to link their account when completing a migration to SSO login via Pulsara’s Federated Authentication integration.
These instructions are laid out based on the login device (mobile or web) and whether their accounts have or have not linked their Pulsara account to their corporate account. Users will need to link their account once, and then can login via their company’s corporate credentials moving forward.
Mobile: If you have not linked your Pulsara account & corporate credentials
Open the Pulsara app on your mobile device.
Using the new dropdown, select Pulsara from the list
Enter your current Pulsara username and password
Tap “Log in” like you normally would
Continue until you are at the “My Patients” screen
Tap on the 3-line menu item in the upper left of the “My Patients” screen

When account linking is available for you, tap on the new option “Link Account”
Pulsara will open a page for you to log in with your corporate credentials. Note that the example shown here may not match your experience, depending on your organization's configuration.
Continue through your corporate login process. If you run into issues, we suggest reaching out to a Pulsara admin or your manager if assistance is required.
Once done, Pulsara will re-open as normal, and your account linking is complete!
Mobile: If you have linked your Pulsara account & corporate credentials
Open the Pulsara app on your mobile device.
Using the new dropdown, select your corporate login from the list
Tap “Log in”
On the next page, enter your corporate credentials in your company’s login process
Pulsara will log you in as normal
Web: If you have not linked your Pulsara account & corporate credentials
Open Pulsara on your browser
Log in using your Pulsara username and password
Continue until you are at the main Pulsara page
In the upper right, click on the user icon to open the dropdown
Click on “Link Account”
Your browser will open your corporate login page. The example shown here may not match your company's corporate login page
Enter your corporate credentials and continue through the login process until completed

When completed, your account will be linked, and you can log into Pulsara using your corporate credentials.
Web: If you have linked your Pulsara account & corporate credentials
When your account is linked, the only difference for login is that there is a unique URL to access Pulsara via your company's corporate login. This new URL must be used once your account is linked. Your managers and IT will ensure this URL is provided to you, or otherwise available to access.
To complete login, you will open the URL to Pulsara and complete your corporate login process. You will be able to use Pulsara as normal once the corporate login is complete.
