Incident Transport

Step 1:  Find patient

  • (1) From main incident screen tap SCAN
  • Scan the Statewide wristband barcode (or other Incident ID) and it will open the patient channel and assign you to the case
  • Note:  Can also use traditional HANDOFF feature
  • Note:  Can enter additional information anytime

Step 2:  Select Transport Destination

  • (2a) Tap TRANSPORT
  • (2b)  Tap SELECT DESTINATION
    • Facilities will be listed by geolocation and there may be ED Availability data as well
      • If linked facilities have been configured, they will display first. If linked facilities have not been configured or if the destination needed is not displayed, tap By Location to view all destinations. 
    • ETA will auto calculate but you can adjust if needed
      • Example – if leaving in 5 minutes then add 5 minutes to the time
  • Tap Alert

Step 3:  Transport Flexibility

  • (3a) Note that Incident Command may assign destination remotely and it will be listed in the REQUESTS card
  • (3b) Also, you can CHANGE DESTINATION by tapping the Change Destination button
