      Disable notifications on a Bluetooth device

      Pulsara does not recommend or support the utilization of secondary devices such as smart watches, bluetooth speakers or Apple CarPlay/Android Auto features. The expected behavior of these secondary devices when audible and visual notifications are delivered is inconsistent depending on the device type, the device model, and the operating system.  This results in unpredictable behaviors and a poor user experience. 

      Find your Bluetooth device in the table below for information on how to disable notifications on that device. If you have another device that is not listed and need assistance disabling notifications, please contact our technical support team.

      Recommended steps for commonly used Bluetooth connections 

      Apple Watch

      How to disable Apple Watch Notifications for Pulsara:

      1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, then tap the My Watch tab. 
      2. Select notifications 

      3. Scroll down to the “Mirror iPhone Alerts From:” section and find the Pulsara app

      4. Turn off mirror iPhone alerts by tapping the toggle next to the Pulsara app

      Bluetooth Speaker

      We do not recommend using Bluetooth speakers. How to disable bluetooth speakers:

      1. Navigate to your Bluetooth settings on your smart device. 
      2. Select your bluetooth speaker 
      3. Disconnect the bluetooth connection

      Bluetooth Headphones

      We do not recommend using Bluetooth headphones. How to disable bluetooth headphones:

      1. Navigate to your Bluetooth settings on your smart device. 
      2. Select your headphones 
      3. Disconnect the bluetooth connection
