Biometrics for Multi-Agency EMS Users
What's changing
- We have added the ability to choose between EMS agency accounts when logging into the Pulsara app using Face ID.
- The iOS Pulsara app now allows you to use biometrics with multiple accounts.
- Pulsara biometrics scan supports Face ID scan for easy login and/or pin in.

- The feature is available in Pulsara for iOS version 55 starting on December 11th

Incident Roster Upload
What's changing
- We added the ability for incident commanders to create patient channels within an incident using a new roster upload wizard.
- The feature allows you to select a .csv file to upload an existing list of patients into Pulsara.
- Upload Roster provides a slick interface for mapping columns to Pulsara data elements such as First Name, Last Name, Condition, Chief Complaint/Notes etc.

Why you’d use it
- Quickly create patient channels in an incident using a predesigned roster/spreadsheet
- Add patients in bulk to an incident for events like facility evacuations, military operations, and large sporting events (e.g., uploading a roster of runners for a marathon)

- People who add patient channels to incidents in Pulsara with a browser

- This feature was released on November 19th
Pulsara for iOS Version Support Information
What's changing
- Pulsara version 54, released in November, was the last version compatible with iOS 15. Pulsara version 55 and later requires iOS 16 or later.
- iOS 15 devices can continue to use Pulsara until mid-2025.
- Devices running iOS 16 and newer can continue to upgrade to new Pulsara versions.
- After upgrading to version 54 or later, Pulsara mobile end users will need to upgrade at least once every six months (the first required upgrade will be in June 2025).

- Apple ended "Security Support" as of Sept 16, 2024 for iOS 15
- Enhanced features and functionality
- Bug fixes and stability
Who’s impacted
- Pulsara iOS users with a device running iOS 15 or older
- Pulsara iOS users who upgrade to version 54 will be required to upgrade to a new Pulsara version every 6 months
