Adding Patients to an Incident as a Healthcare Facility

A patient can be added to an incident when creating a new patient -OR- when editing the Patient Details for an existing patient.

Adding the Patient to the incident when creating a new Patient:


Step 1: In Pulsara HQ → Click “+Create patient”



Step 2: Click “+Add” and select “Triage/Incident”



Step 3: When the triage card is added, click “+ Click here to select incident”



Step 4: Select the appropriate incident from the list



NOTE: Incidents shown in the list are those within a 50-mile radius of your facility.


The incident name will now appear on the triage card for the patient. Additional information can be added to finish creating the patient channel.


Adding an existing Patient to an incident:


Step 1: In Pulsara HQ → Click “View Patient Details”



Step 2: In the upper right, click “+Add” and select “Triage/Incident:



Step 3: Within the triage card is added, click “+ Click here to select incident”



Step 4: Select the appropriate incident from the list



Step 5: The incident name will now appear on the triage card for the patient. Click “Save” to save this information and return to the main Details screen, where you can 1)  add/edit additional information or 2) close the screen.
